Colours of Redbridge Evaluation

About the Client 

Colours of Redbridge is a three-year programme of community-led arts and culture in the borough of Redbridge. It is part of Creative People and Places (CPP), a national programme from Arts Council England, where local people decide what culture happens in their area.

They believe that culture is a driving force for stronger communities. They listen to community voices that are not often heard, to build a healthier, happier borough. They aim to help to reduce the impacts of the key issues residents face, such as the cost of living or gaining skills and employment.

Our Work

ResPeo is providing a peer-led participatory evaluation framework through which to evaluate Colours of Redbridge’s work through an Art’s Council England CPP grant. ResPeo’s evaluation is guided by a community steering group, and includes training data collectors and evaluators from within the Redbridge community.  

Over three years Redbridge will support Colours of Redbridge’s data collection, and support an ongoing process of analysis, insight, and action. 

Reflection

It is a wonderful experience to be working with a community-led organisation on a participatory evaluation, and the project is very dear to us.
