About the Client 

The Mary Seacole Programme is the NHS London Leadership Academy’s most popular 6-month leadership development programme, designed in partnership with global experts, recently refreshed and delivered by experienced facilitators to develop your knowledge and skills in leadership and management.

The NHS Academy sits proudly within the NHS People Directorate, NHS England. They aim to help everyone in the NHS discover their full leadership potential and achieve the highest standards in health and care. They offer leadership programmes, lifelong learning and talent scheme offers designed to deliver the NHS People Plan and our People Promise. They have a wealth of experience and passion for leadership, talent and unlocking potential, pushing for the best in world-class learning and development.

Our Work 

ResPeo was commissioned by Health Education England and the NHS London Leadership Academy to carry out a mixed methods cost/benefit analysis of the local Mary Seacole leadership development programme.

Our team, led by Juliet Brookes, with the input of Dr Ali Mahmoud, brought decades of experience in education and healthcare management. We used a robust mixed methods approach of an evidence gathering workshop, a survey and financial data analysis. ResPeo has a strong track record of supporting health and care sector. We take a person-centred approach and develop strong relationship with commissioners.  

Outcomes 

ResPeo delivered both an interim and final report with recommendations for sustainability, income generation, and retention. The report was accessible, easy to read, and used inviting infographics to engage the audience.
