Ruby Carter

Ruby has a background is in Visual Arts and Anthropology. Her area of focus is utilising creative methods and outputs as a means of creating more accessible, reciprocal and engaging research. She has developed practical digital skills in editing and producing videography, sound, and photography. Ruby has completed a range of visual research projects that seek to challenge traditional methods of knowledge production. A recent example being a drawing-to-sound workshop, which explored how to research and connecting to the local environment through listening. She also has a broad range of experience working with community groups that seek to engage ‘hard-to-reach' and underrepresented communities.
